DR1-004-2, seed pellet dryer, reversible air system
Every type of seed is different, and therefore requires its own unique treatment. This dryer does not just make it possible to configure several programmes with varying drying times, it also allows you to change the direction of the airflow. This enables you to use up-flowing air as well as down-flowing air. Seed Conditioning Enkhuizen has discovered that there is a lot of demand for this and that is why we now offer this conditioned dryer with reversible airflow.
There are several accessories available for this dryer. For instance a pellet container with special transport cart, or rotating drying drums.
The dryer can be used for the drying of seeds from for instance tomatoes, gherkins, cucumbers, sweet peppers, melons, pepper and parsnip. In short, this dryer is exceptionally suited for:
1. Drying of primed seeds.
2. Drying of coated seeds.
3. Drying of pelleted seeds.
4. Drying of packaged seeds.
Operation
In standard dryers, the air direction is constructed in such a way that the air is blown into the dryer from the bottom, but this dryer also makes it possible to blow air in from the top. This dryer is energy-efficient because it uses heat that is generated during the drying process.
Controls
The controls of the machine are very simple and operated by means of a touchscreen on the front of the dryer. This touchscreen is installed on the front of the dryer and has the option to set up to 8 passwords so multiple people can operate the machine securely.
