DR2-003-2, seed pellet dryer, upflow, double compartment
The DR2-003-2 is a double-compartment XL dryer for quickly and accurately drying your seeds and pelleted seeds. This dryer can dry more pellets for you in the same amount of time. Under the right circumstances, it is even possible to condition dry a batch of 4 million pellets in about an hour. You can monitor this process using the optional SCADA package, which checks the conditioned drying process on several critical factors during drying. However, all of this depends on environmental factors and the type of seed.
Operation
The drying unit has been developed according to the condensation principle. Condensate is automatically vaporised with a heat exchanger that uses heat that is generated during drying and in combination with several separate heating elements. This dryer allows you to dry up to 4 million pellets with a 3 to 3.5 mm diameter. These have to be distributed across two containers. When the pellets are introduced with an air humidity of 30%, the drying process takes about an hour. In addition, it is possible to monitor many critical factors with the Reliance (optional) SCADA system. This system lets the dryer work more efficiently.
Controls
The DR2-003-2 is easy to operate and can be used by all your employees. The controls are operated by means of a touchscreen display that offers you a wide range of functions and possibilities, and the option to select one of the pre-configured (by you or by us) programmes.
